Third advent / Trešā advente

Hi, guys! :) So sorry I was absent for so long! You see, Christmas is coming and I had to get on with the present making! :) As I did. Hopefully after holidays I will be able to share some pictures with my handicrafts for you to inspire. As well as with some description, how did I manage to make them. ;) However, I am not sure, that I will be able to write a lot of posts till Christmas because, yep, lots, lots to do! :) Hope you aren’t mad and probably we will meet in regular blogging just after New Years. 

Also, I wanted to share a little insight, that serious blogging really takes much more time than someone would think. I, for sure, am not a serious blogger, but anyway.  It is just hard for non-bloggers to understand how much time excatly it takes. ;) All blogger I follow, from their writting I understand that they all are really hard working. My opinion – bloggers are those people who manage to do it all – study, work, blog, do handicrafts or have somekind of hobby (as a lot of blogs are about a hobby!), do a lot of projects, cooperate with companies, write guest post and do promoting. Oh, and they still have time for personal life. It’s crazy! So, I wanted to share my thoughts, that blogging is underrated and as a new profession in this digital age, it should be much more valued.

But, on Christmas topic. :) Third advent has gone by, in Riga we have +3 grades Celsium and we have no snow, it is too warm for Christmas and snow clearly helps to get the feeling. Sometimes it feels like it is spring, only trees have no leaves or buds. Feels like summer is comming not a harsh winter. :) But Christmas is already next week, so it doesn’t matter what’s the weather outside. ;)

Be jolly, my friends, and kind! Christmas is time for all the good and don’t be afraid to accept it, give it and be happy for others to have it. :)

Čau, visiem! Piedodiet, ka biju pazudusi tik ilgi! Redziet, Ziemassvētki tuvojas un man vajadzēja vairāk pievērsties dāvanu gatavošanai! :) Un tā arī es darīju. ;) Cerams, pēc brīvdienām varēšu padalīties ar kādiem rokdarbu attēliem, lai arī jūs varat iedvesmoties. ;) Iespējams, ka pievienošu arī kādu aprakstu, lai labāk skaidrs, kā izdevās kaut ko tādu uzmeistarot. ;) Tomēr, neesmu droša, ka man izdosies atsākt aktīvu blogošanu līdz pat Ziemassvētkiem, jo daudz, daudz ko darīt! :) Ceru, ka neesat dusmīgi! Kā arī stipri iespējams, ka regulāros blogierakstos tiksimies tikai pēc Jaunā gada.

Bet, es gribēju dalīties arī savos ieskatos par nopietnu blogošanu. Tas paņem daudz vairāk laika, nekā varētu šķist! Es, protams, vēl neesmu nopietna blogere, bet tomēr. Ne-blogeriem ir grūti saprast tieši cik daudz laika ir vajadzīgs, lai izveidot blogierakstu! Visi blogeri, kuru gaitām es sekoju līdzi, no viņu ierakstiem saprotu, ka arī viņi ir ļoti aizņemti, strādīgi cilvēki. Pēc manām domām, blogeri ir tie, kas paspēj visu – mācīties, strādāt, nodarboties ar rokdarbiem vai citu hobiju (jo daudzi blogi ir par hobijiem!), piedalīties projektos, sadarboties ar uzņēmumiem, rakstīt viesierakstus un nodarboties ar dažādu preču reklamēšanu caur savu pieredzi (eng.promoting, latviski kaut kā uz sitiena nevarēju izdomāt, kāds būtu īstais vārds). UN viņiem vēl atliek laika privātajai dzīvei. Tas ir traki! Līdz ar to, gribēju dalīties savās domās, ka blogošana ir pārāk maz novērtēta kā jauna profesija šājā digitālajā laikmetā, tai vajadzētu saņemt daudz lielāku atzinību!

Bet par Ziemassvētkiem. :) Trešā advente jau bija pagājušājā svētdienā, Rīgā +3 grādi un nekāda sniega, ir pārāk silts priekš Ziemassvētkiem un sniegs noteikti arī palīdzētu sajust svētku noskaņu. Dažreiz ārā ir sajūta, ka ir pavasaris, tikai kokiem nav lapas vai pumpuri. Liekas, ka tuvojas vasara, nevis barga ziema. :) Bet Ziemassvētki ir jau nākamnedēļ, tā kā, laikam jau vienalga kāds laiks ārā, tāpat būs jāsvin! ;)

Esiet priecīgi, mani draugi, un laipni! Ziemassvētki ir laiks visam labajm un nebaidieties to pieņemt, dot un būt priecīgiem par citu cilvēku laimi! :)

Hello, my lovely readers! ;) Wish you were there! ;) Today a little break from Christmas posts. ;)

I spent the last hours thinking about blogging platforms and came to no conclusion. :D Which one to choose? Do you have any suggestions? Well, yeah, I know I am currently using blogger, but I am thinking to switch to something more profesional and more flexibile to templates and themes. I think it’s even kind of weird that there are so few, very good AND easy platforms for blogs! What do you say about weebly?

Also, a lot of pro-bloggers say to use social media in very different ways and post different information here and there. To be honest, I even don’t want you, my lovely readers, to be browsing facebook more than you are doing it already! But if I put some content there, so I want you to spend more time with nose inside your modern technology. If you are a blog reader – I advise you to use bloglovin', because that is a nice place to follow all your favourite blogs at once. I, myself, have all my favorite blogs in the browser bookmarks. I don’t follow them in social media (fb, twitter etc.), but, still, I read their blogs frequently. Does anyone else do that too?

What do you think? Should I use facebook and other social media more for connecting? I am no classic blogger, that’s for sure :D , I am not into „oversharing” my life. But sometimes it’s the most interesting stuff, isn’t it? ;) However, my favourite blogs are fashion and lifestyle blogs. :) Maybe someday I will have a style section in my blog, too... ;)

The idea to have this blog was out already in July, but it kind of just didn’t flow. And then, in November it came up again with new strenght and here it is! That day it just clicked. I had to start writting and that I did. I even don’t know why. Guess, for fun. ;)

Sveicināti, mani mīļie lasītāji! :) Vēlētos, lai jūs tur esat! ;) Šodien neliela atelpa no Ziemassvētku ierakstiem. ;)

Pavadīju vairākas stundas domājot par blogošanas platformām un nenonācu ne pie kāda secinājuma. :D Kuru lai izvēlas? Vai jums ir kādi ieteikumi? Žēl, ka latviešiem pašiem nav jauka blogošanas vietne! Nu, jā, es saprotu, ka šobrīd lietoju blogger, bet es domāju mainīt uz citu platformu, kas būtu profesionālāka un elastīgāka attiecībā un sagatavēm, tēmām un citām fīčām. Man liekas, ka ir pat mazliet dīvaini, ka ir tik maz ļoti labu un vieglu platformu priekš blogiem! Hmm, ko jūs sakāt par weebly?

Kā arī, daudzi pieredzējuši blogeri iesaka aktīvi izmantot sociālos portālus, lai publicētu dažāda rakstura informāciju par blogu, par sevi, par jebko citu. Godīgi sakot, es negribu, lai jūs, mani dārgie lasītāji, pavadāt vēl vairāk laika facebook, nekā jūs to jau darāt! Ja es ievietoju kādu informāciju arī tur, tad potenciāli jūs pavadīsiet vēl vairāk laika ar degunu ieurbušies modernajā tehnoloģijā. Ja tu esi blogu lasītajs – es iesaku Tev izmantot bloglovin', jo tur var ērti sekot visiem blogiem, kas tev patīk, vienā vietā. Es pati esmu saglabājusi savus mīļākos blogus pie pārlūka grāmatzīmēm. Es nesekoju blogeriem sociālajos medijos, bet tāpat lasu viņu blogus regulāri. Vai vēl kāds tā dara? ;)

Kā jums liekas? Va man vajadzētu izmantot facebook un citus sociālos mediju vairāk, lai labāk kontaktētos? Es noteikti neesmu klasiska blogere, tas nu ir skaidrs. :D Es sevišķi neaizraujos ar dalīšanos par savu dzīvi. Bet reizēm tas ir tas interesantākais, vai ne? ;) Turklāt, mani mīļākie blogi ir modes vai dzīves stila blogi. :) Varbūt kādu dienu arī manā blogā būs stila sadaļa.. ;)

Ideja par šo blogu man radās jau jūlijā, bet kaut kā neaizgāja. Un tad, novembrī tā atkal atgriezās ar jaunu spēku un te tā ir! Vienu dienu vienkārši noklikšķēja. Man vajadzēja sākt rakstīt un to es arī darīju. Es pat nezinu kāpēc. Prieka pēc? ;)
