Third advent / Trešā advente

Hi, guys! :) So sorry I was absent for so long! You see, Christmas is coming and I had to get on with the present making! :) As I did. Hopefully after holidays I will be able to share some pictures with my handicrafts for you to inspire. As well as with some description, how did I manage to make them. ;) However, I am not sure, that I will be able to write a lot of posts till Christmas because, yep, lots, lots to do! :) Hope you aren’t mad and probably we will meet in regular blogging just after New Years. 

Also, I wanted to share a little insight, that serious blogging really takes much more time than someone would think. I, for sure, am not a serious blogger, but anyway.  It is just hard for non-bloggers to understand how much time excatly it takes. ;) All blogger I follow, from their writting I understand that they all are really hard working. My opinion – bloggers are those people who manage to do it all – study, work, blog, do handicrafts or have somekind of hobby (as a lot of blogs are about a hobby!), do a lot of projects, cooperate with companies, write guest post and do promoting. Oh, and they still have time for personal life. It’s crazy! So, I wanted to share my thoughts, that blogging is underrated and as a new profession in this digital age, it should be much more valued.

But, on Christmas topic. :) Third advent has gone by, in Riga we have +3 grades Celsium and we have no snow, it is too warm for Christmas and snow clearly helps to get the feeling. Sometimes it feels like it is spring, only trees have no leaves or buds. Feels like summer is comming not a harsh winter. :) But Christmas is already next week, so it doesn’t matter what’s the weather outside. ;)

Be jolly, my friends, and kind! Christmas is time for all the good and don’t be afraid to accept it, give it and be happy for others to have it. :)

Čau, visiem! Piedodiet, ka biju pazudusi tik ilgi! Redziet, Ziemassvētki tuvojas un man vajadzēja vairāk pievērsties dāvanu gatavošanai! :) Un tā arī es darīju. ;) Cerams, pēc brīvdienām varēšu padalīties ar kādiem rokdarbu attēliem, lai arī jūs varat iedvesmoties. ;) Iespējams, ka pievienošu arī kādu aprakstu, lai labāk skaidrs, kā izdevās kaut ko tādu uzmeistarot. ;) Tomēr, neesmu droša, ka man izdosies atsākt aktīvu blogošanu līdz pat Ziemassvētkiem, jo daudz, daudz ko darīt! :) Ceru, ka neesat dusmīgi! Kā arī stipri iespējams, ka regulāros blogierakstos tiksimies tikai pēc Jaunā gada.

Bet, es gribēju dalīties arī savos ieskatos par nopietnu blogošanu. Tas paņem daudz vairāk laika, nekā varētu šķist! Es, protams, vēl neesmu nopietna blogere, bet tomēr. Ne-blogeriem ir grūti saprast tieši cik daudz laika ir vajadzīgs, lai izveidot blogierakstu! Visi blogeri, kuru gaitām es sekoju līdzi, no viņu ierakstiem saprotu, ka arī viņi ir ļoti aizņemti, strādīgi cilvēki. Pēc manām domām, blogeri ir tie, kas paspēj visu – mācīties, strādāt, nodarboties ar rokdarbiem vai citu hobiju (jo daudzi blogi ir par hobijiem!), piedalīties projektos, sadarboties ar uzņēmumiem, rakstīt viesierakstus un nodarboties ar dažādu preču reklamēšanu caur savu pieredzi (eng.promoting, latviski kaut kā uz sitiena nevarēju izdomāt, kāds būtu īstais vārds). UN viņiem vēl atliek laika privātajai dzīvei. Tas ir traki! Līdz ar to, gribēju dalīties savās domās, ka blogošana ir pārāk maz novērtēta kā jauna profesija šājā digitālajā laikmetā, tai vajadzētu saņemt daudz lielāku atzinību!

Bet par Ziemassvētkiem. :) Trešā advente jau bija pagājušājā svētdienā, Rīgā +3 grādi un nekāda sniega, ir pārāk silts priekš Ziemassvētkiem un sniegs noteikti arī palīdzētu sajust svētku noskaņu. Dažreiz ārā ir sajūta, ka ir pavasaris, tikai kokiem nav lapas vai pumpuri. Liekas, ka tuvojas vasara, nevis barga ziema. :) Bet Ziemassvētki ir jau nākamnedēļ, tā kā, laikam jau vienalga kāds laiks ārā, tāpat būs jāsvin! ;)

Esiet priecīgi, mani draugi, un laipni! Ziemassvētki ir laiks visam labajm un nebaidieties to pieņemt, dot un būt priecīgiem par citu cilvēku laimi! :)

10. Hope / Cerība

Hi, everyone! :) Are you hopeful today? Are you hopeful everyday? 

It is hard to define hope, isn’t it? I would say it means looking optimistic into the future. Believing that everything will be OK. Hope is to believe that good things will come. However, for me, hope feels a little too „light”. It is just a thought – I hope (but I do nothing to achieve what I want). I think we should say „I believe”. It is much stronger statement. I believe that the future will be awesome. Feels like the future is going to be awesome, isn’t it? But with hope – I hope that  future will be awesome, sounds like „I would like the future awesome, but most likely it will be not”. Let’s be believers not hopers! ;)

Nevertheless, hope is a bright word and sparkles a joy, it is the moment when you finally see the light out of the darkness. THAT feeling. You know what I mean? When you feel like you could fly because the future looks so happy! Like everything falls into the right place. Hope don’t let us to cave in, hope says: „Keep going, soon it will be fine”. 

I imagine hope as a little candle light in the dark, a helpful hand that you finally see. Why do we associate hope with Christmas? Because in Christmas miracles happen? Or Christmas is just the holiday that is all about good, humane qualities? Anyway, hope encourages us to don’t give up and we should take that advise. Christmas is all about new starts, peace between friends and family and happy endings. If you don’t feel like that this is your happy ending, don’t worry, it’s comming! :) And, of course, we get more than one happy ending in our lives. We have a difficulty and than it’s happy again and so on. We need the difficulties to learn and become better persons, and to have more colourful lives. :) As people we like to overcome obsticles, solve challenges and achieve goals. 

That’s all for today, my dears. :) Be hopeful and keep believing! We don’t know what the future will bring, so it is better to look at it in bright colours, right? If that gives us hope and good feeling, why worry about the future now, when you can enjoy a happy thought about what’s comming? It is always better to seek for the good, because than you will find the good! :)

Čau! Vai šodien jūtaties cerību pilni? Vai varbūt esat cerīgi noskaņoti katru dienu? :)

Ir grūti definēt cerību, vai ne? Es teiktu, ka tas nozīmē skatīties optimistiski uz nākotni. Ticēt, ka viss būs labi. Cerība nozīmē ticēt, ka labas lietas Notiks. Tomēr, priekš manis, cerība liekas mazliet „viegla”. Tā ir tikai kā doma – Es ceru (bet nedaru neko, lai sasniegtu, ko gribu). Es domāju mums vairāk vajadzētu teikt: „Es ticu!”. Tas ir daudz stingrāks apgalvojums. Es ticu, ka nākotne būs lieliska. Liekas, ka nākotne BŪS lieliska, vai ne? Bet ar cerību – es ceru, ka nākotne būs lieliska, izklausās  vairāk pēc „Man patīktu, ja nākotne būtu lieliska, bet visdrīzāk jau, ka nē”. Līdz ar to, labāk būsim ticētāji nevis cerētāji! ;)

Jebkurā gadījumā, cerība ir gaišs vārds, kas uzdzirkstī prieku, tas ir brīdi, kad tu beidzot ieraugi gaismu tumsā. TĀ sajūta. Saprotat, ko es ar to domāju? Kad ir šī sajūta, ka gribas lidot, jo nākotne liekas tik laimīga! Tā, it kā viss ir nostājies savās vietās. Cerība neļauj mums padoties, cerība saka: „Turpini iet uz priekšu, viss būs labi”.

Es iztēlojos cerību, kā sveces liesmiņu tumsā, kā palīdzīgu roku, kuru tu beidzot esi ieraudzījis. Kāpēc cerība mums saistas ar Ziemassvētkiem? Jo Ziemassvētkos brīnumi notiek? Vai Ziemassvētki vienkārši svētki par labām, cilvēcīgām īpašībām? Nu, lai vai kā, cerība mūs iedrošina nepadoties un mums vajadzētu ņemt vērā šo padomu. Ziemassvētki ir par jauniem sākumiem, mieru starp draugiem un radiniekiem un laimīgām beigām. Ja tev neliekas, ka šīs ir tavas laimīgās beigas, tad neuztraucies, tās vēl tikai tuvojas! :) Un, protams, mums ir vairāk kā vienas laimīgas beigas dzīvē. Ir grūtība un tad atkal viss ir labi un tā tik uz priekšu. Mums vajag šīs grūtības, lai mācītos un kļūtu par labākiem cilvēkiem un, lai mums būtu krāsainākas dzīves! :) Kā cilvēkiem, mums patīk pārvarēt grūtības, risināt uzdevumus un sasniegt mērķus.

Tas arī viss šodienai, mīļie. :) Esiet cerīgi un turpiniet ticēt! Mēs nezinām, ko nesīs nākotne, tad kāpēc gan neskatīties uz to gaišās krāsās? Ja tas dod mums ticību un labu sajūtu, kāpēc uztraukties par nākotni tagad, ja varam izbaudīt laimīgas domas par to, kas tuvojas? Vienmēr ir prātīgāk meklēt apkārt labo, jo tad tu arī labo atradīsi. :)
