DIY pinecone wreath / DariPats čiekuru vainags

Hi everyone! :) Today again a DIY Christmas post. As the first advent is this Sunday, it is finally the time to get ready for the holidays! :) Watching Christmas movies and doing handicrafts! :)

Sveiki visiem! :) Šodien atkal esmu jums sarūpējusi DariPats ierakstu. Tā kā pirmā advente ir jau šo svētdien, beidzot ir laiks sākt gatavoties svētkiem! :) Skatos Ziemassvētku filmas un nodarbojos ar rokdarbiem! ;)

The base / Pamatne

I had some straw from the country, so I used it to make the base. I just tied them with thread and voilà! you have a wreath base in 10 – 20 minutes! :) Actually I made two bases and then tied them together, I thought that way the surface will be more flat and the pinecones will stick and look better. :) That’s just my way. If you do it with one bigger base, please, let me know, so I can find out how that works out. :)

Salmus man atveda no laukiem, tā kā man bija ideāls materiāls, lai veidotu vainaga pamatu. Salmus es vienkārši sasēju kopā ar diegu apļa formā un voilà! vainaga pamatne gatava 10 – 20 minūtēs! :) Īstenībā es izveidoju divas pamatnes un tad sasēju tās kopā. Man likās, ka tādā veidā pamatnes virspuse būs plakanāka, un čiekuri labāk izskatīsies un labāk turēsies klāt. :) Tas ir kā es darīju. Ja jūs veidojat vienu, bet lielāku pamatni, tieši čiekuru vainagam, dodiet ziņu, kā tas izskatās! :)

Two seperate bases I made, one smaller, so it can fit into the other. / Divas atsevišķās pamatnes. Viena ir nedaudz mazāka par otru, lai varu tās viegli sasiet kopā.

And here, tied together, the actual base I used. / Šādu pamatni es izmantoju.

Pinecones / Čiekuri

Now you just have to glue all the pinecones to the base! At first they kind of don’t want to stick, but when the glue solidify, it should be fine. :) Also, don’t spare the glue, so the pinecones stick very well and you can use the wreath next year too. :)

Lūk! Tagad tikai jāpielīmē čiekuri pie pamatnes! Sākumā tie lāgā negribēja lipt klāt, bet tad,kad līme sacietēja, viss bija kārtībā. :) Kā arī, nežēlojiet līmi, lai čiekuri piestiprinās ļoti labi un vainagu varat izmantot arī nākamajā gadā! :)

Just a pretty picture I liked. :D The cones and the base, yet seperate. (I did not use the all basket!) / Vienkārši skaista fotogrāfija, kas man patika. :D Čiekuri un pamatne vēl atsevišķi. (Izmantoju tikai nelielu daļu no groza čiekuriem!)

And here it is! :) Nice and easy pinecone wreath! :) If you want to, you can of course decorate it with bows etc. :) If you have the straw, hot glue gun and some thread, you can make yourself a nice inexpensive Christmas decoration! :) Because the main compotent you can find in every pine forest and gather as much as you want! :) Also my florist friend said that you can use old paper instead of straw, if you don’t have any. However, there are some little spaces between the pinecones, so you will have to come up with a solution, so the paper is not visible. :) Also, I used 4 short (like 9,5cm) and 4 long (like 14,5cm) glue sticks for the little glue gun.

And the last one, the bow (to hang the wreath) I sew through the straw (I had a needle with big eye), so I hope it sticks ok! :) (I forgot to take a picture, but hope you can image it well! :))

Gatavs! :) Jauks un vienkāršs čiekuru vainags! :) Ja vēlaties, varat to, protams, dekorēt ar lentām utt. :) Šis ir piemērs tam , ka ja jums mājas ir salmi, karstā līme un nedaudz diega, jums ir reāla iespēja, diezgan ātri izveidot sev nedārgu Ziemassvētku dekoru! ;) Jo galveno sastāvdaļu, čiekurus, var salasīt jebkurā priežu mežā, tik daudz, cik tīk! ;) Kā arī, mana draudzene-floriste, teica, ka salmu vietā var izmantot avīzi, ja jums mājās nav lieku salmu (jā, jo kuram gan NAV mājās salmi :D). Tomēr, starp čiekuriem paliek nelielas atstarpītes, tā kā būs jādomā kāds risinājums, lai avīze nespīd cauri. Kā arī es izlietoju 4 īsos (apm 9,5 cm) un 4 garos (apm 14,5cm) līmes stobriņus, kas paredzēti mazajai pistolei.

 

Un pēdējais, lentu, kurā iekārts vainags es piešuvu pie salmiem (izmantoju adatu ar lielu aci), ceru, ka turēsies labi! :) (Aizmirsu gan uzņemt foto, bet ceru, ka varat to labi iztēloties!:))
